About the Band

Born in Mississippi in early 2024, Steele Hollow is a powerhouse fusion band blending Southern Rock, Outlaw Country, and ’90s Rock influences. The four-piece group consists of Nathan Steele on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Michael Buntyn on lead guitar and vocals, Jimmy Steverson on bass, and Tyler Cannon on drums, with both rhythm section members contributing backing vocals. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin to modern rockers like Kings of Leon and Weezer, Steele Hollow crafts a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Since their formation during a fateful jam session in Brandon, Mississippi, they’ve been making waves in the local scene.

Tyler Cannon

Tyler Cannon is the powerhouse drummer of Steele Hollow. Despite being blind since birth, he taught himself to play both guitar and drums, developing an unmatched sense of rhythm and soul. Drawing inspiration from classic rock legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, and Rush, his drumming blends the raw energy of Southern rock with intricate, progressive rhythms. Michael Buntyn

Born and raised in east central Mississippi, Michael Buntyn is a Southern Rock guitarist whose music embodies the heart and grit of the South. He brings a fresh perspective to a classic sound. Whether performing on stage or creating in the studio, he channels the essence of Mississippi’s musical heritage while carving his own path as a modern Southern rocker.
